PM Narendra Modi attended the AI Summit in Paris on the second day of his France tour. He informed that the next AI Summit will be held in India. Modi said that India will be happy to host the next AI Summit and while addressing the Paris Summit, Modi said that AI is writing the code of humanity for this century.This is necessary for social security. This shows that the positive potential of AI is extraordinary. PM Narendra Modi said that “AI is transforming the lives of millions of people. With time, the nature of employment is also changing. AI will have to address the employment crisis. History is a witness that technology does not take away jobs. AI will create new job opportunities.”
Narendra Modi said that India has successfully built digital infrastructure at low cost. Unlocking the power of data through data empowerment.India is ready to share its experiences and expertise so that the future is better and inclusive for all.
90 countries participated in this summit. Representatives from 90 countries gathered in the French capital Paris to take action on AI and related challenges. During the AI Action Summit, French President Emmanuel Macron said – We have everything to become a leader in AI. The two most important things for AI are energy and human resources and we have both of them. So Europe will become a powerhouse of AI.
Without naming US President Donald Trump, Macron said, A good friend of mine says, “Drill, baby, drill.” But in France there is no need to drill, here it is ‘plug, baby, plug’, because there is no shortage of electricity or human resources in France.
Let us tell you that Trump has talked about promoting oil and gas production in America under the ‘Drill, baby, drill’ policy. The energy required for a search on an AI chatbot is 10 times more than that of a search engine. France wants to develop AI through sustainable energy, while America is dependent on oil and gas.
Modi called the CEO Forum a place for the best minds, PM also participated in the 14th India-France CEO Forum in Paris. He said that this forum is a hub for the best business minds of India and France. Through this forum, the strategic partnership between the two countries becomes stronger.
It is a pleasure to be a part of this summit with Macron. This is our sixth meeting in the last 2 years. Last year Macron was the chief guest at the Republic Day in India. Today we co-chaired the AI Summit together. I congratulate Macron for this successful event.
