Lakhs of people were stranded on the border of Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh Mela.
The administration is asking the people who came to the Mahakumbh Mela to go back. They are not even allowing people to go to Chitrakoot, the devotee Atram Patil who came from Maharashtra also faced the same problems. He was also stuck in Chitrakoot on the expressway.
Like devotee Atmaram, about 2 lakh pilgrims were waiting for the 25-km-long jam in Chitrakoot to open to go to Prayagraj on the day of Mauni Amavasya. Some devotees got lost along with their hungry and thirsty families on the way, this is the situation on the roads coming from 8 districts near Prayagraj. Many people were forced to stay in hotels. And where people were stopped, there was no water or toilet facility. And they were forced to spend the night in the cold in the open.

In this problem, the administration was asking people to return but people are telling them that when they left home, they should take a bath in the Sangam. There was a 10 km long traffic on the Prayagraj Chitrakoot border. 40 thousand vehicles were trapped on the Prayagraj-Pratapgarh border and the police stopped all the buses going to Prayagraj. There is a lot of crowd here, the elderly and women are facing many problems, the toilets that have been built are also falling short. Shatrughan Kumar, who came from Delhi, said that no vehicle is available here and I have walked about 18 km.
All vehicles going from Varanasi to Prayagraj were stopped at Bhadohi Babu Sarai, Aurai, Gopiganj, Lalnagar, Thana Onj and near the border. In Varanasi, there was a 20-km long traffic jam on all roads from Varanasi to Prayagraj till Wednesday evening. 40 thousand vehicles were stopped, more than 10 thousand vehicles were parked in parking lots and thousands of people who had set out to participate in the Mahakumbh were trapped in buses, cars and other vehicles.
