Big blow, BCCI gives this big punishment to Hardik Pandya before T20 World Cup…

Amidst the celebration of the victory against Punjab Kings, a sudden bad news has come to light for Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya. Hardik Pandya has had to suffer a loss of Rs 12 lakh due to one of his mistakes. In fact, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been fined Rs 12 lakh for violating the IPL code of conduct.

This was Hardik Pandya’s first offence in the IPL 2024 season. BCCI has given this big punishment to Hardik Pandya after declaring him guilty for slow over rate. Mumbai Indians failed to complete their 20 overs in the stipulated time. Due to which captain Hardik Pandya has been given this big punishment.

Hardik Pandya alone will have to bear the brunt of the punishment meted out to Mumbai. The IPL issued a press release saying that Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been fined for a slow over-rate. Since this is his team’s first offence under the IPL code of conduct in the IPL 2024 season, Hardik Pandya has been fined Rs 12 lakh for it.

Let us tell you that due to the slow over rate, the Mumbai Indians team had to keep an extra fielder in the 30-yard circle in the 19th and 20th overs. If Hardik Pandya is found guilty of the slow over rate once again, he will be fined Rs 24 lakh and the rest of the Mumbai Indians team’s playing XI, including the impact players, will be fined Rs 6 lakh.
